Catalyst were awarded the contract in partnership with event management agency, Speakeasy, to design and produce the opening event for The Solheim Cup 2019 at the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel. Our multi-purpose design catered for a mixture of live musical acts, as well as the introduction of the US and European teams to both the live audience and over three million television viewers. Our team worked closely with all stakeholders to emulate the production values of the Ryder Cup opening ceremony, and to further cement the Solheim Cup as the pinnacle of women’s golf.
