Catalyst collaborated with the client’s design team to create a large outdoor stand to accommodate and display the new models from the Land Rover range. Our client provided us with a rough visual brief then placed their complete trust in our team to take this initial concept and inject our own expertise and creativity.
The mechanical challenges of building a structure capable of supporting two-tonne vehicles was our first hurdle to overcome. We cleared a large section of our workshop to construct a sturdy subframe from timber, cladding it in plywood and finishing with decking board for aesthetic appeal. Large flats were constructed using weatherproof plywood to protect from the elements – these would form the walls. We then clad the walls in printed foam boards and created a waterproof structure with a sealed aperture to house a screen showing looped content.
Our client was delighted with the finished product and our ability to go the extra mile in assisting with other aspects of the event.
